The Future CFO Programme was really useful for preparing to step up into a CFO role, in particular the 100-day training course and competency workshops.

Overall the course was a positive experience and one where we were able to explore together what it was to be a CFO. The course focuses mainly on developing your 100 day plan and a lot to do with scoring your next position, which it does really well. However if you are looking for more in depth training, you should complement this with the learning activities that are included as part of this program and sit within GrowCFO’s professional development platform.

GrowCFO provided a community of both mentors and peers that I never would have been able to gather on my own, and gave me perspective that I needed to build my confidence and clarify my goals.

The delivery method is Group Live using Zoom. As a prerequisite, candidates will already be performing a senior role in a finance function and will be expecting to progress to a CFO role in the next 2-3 years. No advance preparation is required.

FAQs

How should I pay for the program?

All program payments must be made directly to GrowCFO through our company website growcfo.net/future-cfo or through GrowCFO company invoices. GrowCFO accepts no liability for any payments made to any other parties, including regional leaders and program facilitators.

What should I do if I’m unable to attend a live session?

While attending live sessions is recommended for optimal training experience, we understand that sometimes unexpected situations may arise. If you are unable to attend a live session, a recording of the session will be made available to you. However, please note that for certain sessions, you may still be required to submit preparatory work even if you are unable to attend the live session, so please review the course material carefully and make arrangements accordingly to ensure you can keep up with the program requirements.

I work full-time, what is the expected time commitment?

The live online workshops run on a monthly basis lasting two hours each. There is no preparation required, except around 30 minutes for the Module 1 workshop.

What is your refund policy?

At GrowCFO, we pride ourselves on building strong and supportive cohorts for each intake. Once a participant has committed to a cohort, we do not offer a refund, to ensure a strong community of like-minded individuals who will serve as a valuable support network throughout the training journey is built.

What should I be expected to know coming into this course? How should I prepare in advance?

There is no expected knowledge or preparation in advance of the program, although most people find it beneficial to register for a Preview Event in advance, (this is not compulsory). There is a bonus one-hour introductory group session prior to the Module 1 workshop for people to meet the program delivery team and start building relationships with their cohort group members.

Does this course qualify for CPE (continuing professional education)?

Yes, the Future CFO program counts for 23 hours of CPE and you will be issued a certificate on completion.

What should I do if I didn’t receive the calendar invite for the sessions?

If you didn’t receive the automatic calendar invite after registering for a live workshop / boot camp / program / webinar, you can easily add it to your calendar or download the invite manually by following these steps:

1. In your inbox/spam, find the Here’s your schedule email

2. On the email, click the event link or add to my calendar button

3. Click the specific talk/workshop you want to add to your calendar

4. Click on “Add to Calendar.”

5. Choose your preferred option:
