The 3 Modules
1. The Leader
Leadership mindset and driving team performance through vision, values and self-awareness.
We start by looking at the mindset of a self-aware leader: How do you lead yourself? How do you lead others?
We then move on to look at how you inspire teams with clear vision and values: How do you create a high performing team? How do you role model the behaviour that creates ownership and action that demonstrates your value to the business?
2. The Partner
Commercial acumen, strategic focus and business partnering. We look at what it means to be commercial, how strategic focus adds long term value and how effective business partnering makes you the ‘go to’ person in your business.
You will learn influence and communication techniques that show you how to create clarity from confusion, turn conflict into collaboration and see obstacles as opportunities.
3. The Performer
Bring everything together in an immersive business simulation that takes you out of your comfort zone and into your growth zone. Because there’s nothing quite like doing it for real.
We design business scenarios inspired by real events that any FD will have to handle if they want to succeed. We bring everything we learn together with trained actors and business coaches and you into high pressure situations: How can you draw on what you have learned to navigate, negotiate and lead when the pressure is really on?

We covered a wide range of topics from managing stakeholders to creating a project plan and even analysing available software solutions (who knew there were so many!). Oliver Deacon is an engaging facilitator who managed to keep the energy and interest high throughout despite it being virtual. He delivered a combination of theory based models with practical examples and the chance to deep-drive into the week's specific topic via smaller break out rooms. I'm extremely impressed with the breath of subject matter covered and how relevant and applicable it was made to feel within an NHS context even though it wasn't aimed at a public sector audience.
As a CIMA finalist, this Transformation Boot Camp brought my Strategic level studies to life; especially in our final session where we worked through a Case Study and tied all the different elements together. I walked away feeling inspired and excited about the opportunities we have for progress in this area! Iain Dewson has a unique take on learning and development for finance. As an experienced Chartered Accountant, he has navigated a career path through various industries and senior finance roles until he landed at TUI Group to run their global Finance Academy.
Being responsible for the learning and development of more than 3,500 finance colleagues in over 42 countries was a radical change in direction and a real eye-opener.
The view from outside finance looking in gave him a unique perspective. Running a global learning platform, as well as designing and delivering bespoke training programs around the world for finance, was a richly rewarding experience.
With extensive experience developing bespoke training for high-performing candidates looking to move up in the world of finance, FD Ready was the natural next step to give aspiring Finance Directors a leg-up on the competition.
