Andrew Tapson is a commercially astute finance leader and Non-Executive Director with over 35 years of experience delivering board-level leadership across global corporates, entrepreneurial growth companies, and the not-for-profit sector.
A qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Corporate Treasurer (AMCT), Andrew has held senior executive and non-executive roles spanning governance, strategy, finance, and business transformation. His career includes leading the £3bn wind-down of ING Lease UK with exemplary people outcomes, chairing finance committees across healthcare, local government, and sport, and advising more than 40 early-stage businesses through his advisory firm, Perle Partnership Ltd.
Andrew is renowned for translating complex financial and strategic challenges into clear, actionable insights that help boards make confident, informed decisions. He thrives where governance and strategic vision meet entrepreneurial ambition—supporting leaders to strengthen oversight, secure funding, and deliver sustainable growth.
He currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee at Devon Cricket Foundation and as Finance Trustee at Rowcroft Hospice, alongside advising a diverse portfolio of growth-focused clients as a Fractional CFO.
